The Boring Gay Roundup is a newsletter from me (Lex) - creator of the Instagram account @theboringgay (formerly known as The Problem Gays) and author of The Grid: Lessons from the Men of Grindr. I am a gay lawyer based in SoCal and have been ranting about all things LGBTQ+ since 2016.
As queer folks, many of us didn’t grow up with someone like us to give us advice. The goal of my online presence is to be that person for anyone missing out. You can get a regular dose of my LGBTQ+ perspectives with this newsletter. Each edition will provide a brief roundup of my thoughts on the gay experience, career, money, and my personal favorite - cars! The newsletter will also feature comments and plugs on brands, projects, and causes from my readers. I hope it will inform, motivate, entertain, and spur conversation. Ultimately, everyone should have a boring gay on retainer…I’d be honored to be yours.
